About The Project
Growing up around the Sheffield and Rotherham area, we were very aware of Wentworth Woodhouse. It was a hidden gem that people rarely had access to. So when we heard that it had be bought by the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust, we were excited at the prospect of being involved in the restoration project. Working on one of the cellar door locks initially and creating a new key and then going on to restore a lock as a show piece for visitors to the house.
Heritage Project
Most of the work is carried out on site, in our mobile workshop, so that these valuable locks and keys rarely have to leave the premises.
